Guillaume Dulude, Ph.D.
Guillaume Dulude, Ph.D., is the founder of Psycom. He specializes in and teaches human relations psychology, interpersonal communication, and leadership development. A best-selling author, international speaker, director, and TV host, Guillaume popularizes science and makes psychology accessible to the general public through his books and specialized training courses. He holds a doctorate in research psychology (PhD) and clinical psychology (Psyd) from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). His research thesis focuses on cognitive processes, attentional systems, and consciousness. Guillaume is passionate about the theories and foundations of human development as well as their practical application. He stands out not only for his innovative concepts and teachings, but also for his practical demonstration of communication strategies in all environments, types of relationships, and socio-cultural contexts. Guillaume works to demonstrate what humans have in common, rather than what divides them. He hosts the documentary series Tribal, broadcast on TV5 Monde. This program, which he co-directed, earned two nominations at the 35th Gala des Prix Gémeaux (2020) in the categories of Best Documentary Series (Society) and Best Cinematography (Public Affairs, Documentary Series). Guillaume appears as a guest expert on numerous Quebec radio and television programs (Tout le monde en parle, Demain tout est possible, Dessine-moi un dimanche, etc.). He could be seen every Monday alongside Marie-Claude Barrette on the program Deux filles le matin, then on Marie-Claude, broadcast on TVA. In the summer of 2021, Guillaume co-hosted the radio show Ni noir ni blanc on 98.5FM. Guillaume's book, Golden Skills - Human Communication & Relationships, was published in 2020 by Éditions de l'Homme and has been a success in Quebec, earning him best-seller status and the Renaud-Bray bookstores' Coup de cœur award. The book, also available in paperback and audiobook formats, is a guide to the mechanisms of communication and human relations, and sheds new light on the meaning of relationships and interpersonal communication. Originally written in French, the book was translated in English in 2025. In 2023, Guillaume founded the International Day of Courage and Personal Responsibility. To mark the occasion, he organized and hosted the first edition of Y Event at the Montreal Convention Center. 5,000 people attended this large-scale conference, where psychological strategies are taught for, among other things, overcoming stagnation, making good decisions, moving on to the next chapter of one's life, and finding meaning in it. With the proceeds from ticket sales, Guillaume raised over $100,000, which he donated to three high schools in Quebec to encourage young people to also pursue their quest for meaning through individual responsibility. The second edition of the event was held at the Bell Centre in Montreal in 2024. Guillaume welcomed Anthony Kavanagh as master of ceremonies, as well as Serena Williams and Chris Hadfield as guest speakers. The third edition of the Y Event was broadcasted live online in October 2025 from a studio in Los Angeles, with Mario Lopez as master of ceremonies and Valentine Thomas and Dr. Jane Goodall (in spirit) as guests.
